– Summited 1/2017
Aconcagua (22,841 ft) is the highest peak in South America. It is located in the Andes Mountain Range in western Argentina. Its success rate is less than 50%. It took me two attempts to successfully summit this mountain. In 2014 during my first attempt, our team was turned around by stormy weather. We had much better luck during my 2017 climb, with ¾ of our team successfully reaching the summit.
